Congratulations to Noémie for her participation and amazing 3-minute presentation of her thesis work! On March 17th, 2022, Noémie was among 10 PhD students from UNIL who stepped onto the stage to compete in the competition "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" (MT180). As the clock counted down from 180 seconds, Noémie and the other participants must present their research project in front of a lay audience in a clear, concise, yet convincing manner.
Though Noémie was not selected to go off to the Swiss finals, she was the clear winner in our hearts, sparkling on stage and enthusiastically presenting her work on the role of Nanog in genome activation in the zebrafish. On behalf of the huge CIG cheerleading squad, we're so proud of you!
