High Altitude, Higher Impact Factors?

Once upon a time, there was a lab named Vastenhouw.
One spring morning in 2025, they packed their pipettes, left their zebrafish behind, and set off on a quest — to the mountains of Anzère. There, in a chalet nestled among the peaks, they spent three days pondering science, climbing hills, and perfecting the fine art of pizza-making.
On the way, they were joined by travelers from far away lands. Two brave guest scientists, Prof. Claudio Cantù from Linköping University and Prof. Charlène Boumendil from CNRS, joined the adventure. They survived the brain-picking discussions, the games night, and even the group cooking.
Ideas were shared, bonds were forged, and no one burned the chalet down — a resounding success by all metrics.
And so, the Vastenhouw Lab returned home: wiser, stronger, and slightly better at dough tossing. Time away from the bench and a dose of fresh mountain air? Just what the Dr. (PhD) ordered.
The end.
