This year, our department traded pipettes for party hats and lab notes for laughter at the annual Christmas party. The usual sterile environment was compromised—but only by the festive cheer and a questionable amount of holiday spirits (the consumable kind).
It was time to put on the ugliest Christmas sweaters and place an order with Santa and Co., resulting in a Santa's Gift Exchange with more twists than a double helix. Gifts were picked, stolen, and hilariously defended, proving our strategic skills aren't limited to the lab.
Fun was had, bonds were strengthened, and no data analysis needed to confirm: it was a blast. Happy holidays from our lab to yours 🥂
